Football Competition

It was a celebration of all things that are good about football at grassroots level and all things that are good about our club.

The football was played in a competitive spirit and some of the quality of play from very young players was a credit to all the clubs who took part.

The take up on the BBQ, tea and coffee stall and the ice cream wagon all helped and contributed to the day and will help in the fund-raising effort for the club. Thank you to all those parent groups who manned those areas not forgetting the car park marshals who did a fine job controlling entry and exit to and from the grounds.

The administration of results was like a well oiled machine and those in the control van can take much credit for that and keeping very much on time.

A big thank you for all those volunteers who helped set up on Saturday and during the week to mark up pitches and rope them off.

If I have forgotten anyone I am sorry – your contribution was much valued.
